Hello everyone,

I recently got an AM3 mount and an ASIAir Plus 256GB. I’m using an iPhone 16 (iOS 18.3.2) with the ASIAir app (version 2.3.1, firmware aligned with this version).

The AM3 and ASIAir are connected via Bluetooth, while my phone (I also tried with a Mac) is connected to the ASIAir hotspot. However, during normal usage—such as in preview mode or while centering an object—the app freezes.

If I tap the ASIAir logo on the top left, I can see that the ASIAir network is still connected, but the "Service is disconnected" message appears. At this point, neither the Connect via IP nor the Scan function detects the ASIAir anymore.

When this happens, if I check Settings → Wi-Fi on my iPhone, the ASIAir network shows "No Connection".

Is this a known issue? Are there any workarounds?

Note: I haven't tried resetting the Wi-Fi using the dedicated button yet. I also haven’t tested connecting the mount and ASIAir via cable, as I find the Bluetooth connection very convenient.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Best regards,
Paolo

Similar auto-reconnecting error statement on older ASIAIR Pro with iOS 18.3.2 and AsiAir 2.3 (11.56) update. My crash occurs around the time of guiding calibration. System crashes, both cameras, focuser, mount all dismount from the Am5. New symptom after 3+ years of flawless imaging.

Is there a known issue with Asiair plus and the Apple iOS 18.3.2?
