I have been using ZWO AM5 for 2 years now. I am facing some strange issues with auto meridian flip. When paired with AsiAir Pro the mount performs OK. But when I use it with AsiAir Plus the auto meridian flip works only when auto mode is active. With Plan mode the mount fails to perform the meridian flip. Also last night I used the following: SCA260, ASI2600mm ZWO EFW, ZWO OAG L, Asi174mm mini and Asi Air Plus. Auto mode active as I said before plan mode fails. Up to the meridian everything was great. The payload wasn’t causing any problems with counterweight of 5kg. The RMS was 0.5-0.7 at 300sec subs. And obviously the mount did the meridian flip but the entire session afterwards was only with star trails.
All the hardware is updated to the latest versions. The settings in the AsiAir Plus are 5min before and 5min after the meridian. Auto guiding recalibration is on.
Please advise on the above!
