My Seestar S50 won't move. It thinks it is moving but it's not. When it first powers on I can hear the motors whirring but then nothing but the background hum of it being on.
If I ask it to open the arm it says it has opened but nothing has moved, when I ask it to close the arm the little circle goes round and round and eventually it gives up.
If I try scenery mode and try to use the joystick it tells me that it can't move any further down (regardless of which direction I try) but it hasn't moved.
If I ask it to go to an object it thinks it is moving, the numbers go down but obviously it fails to find the target and says to make sure there are no clouds etc and says centre object failed.
I have tried the reset button, I have tried pressing the power button for 10 seconds, I have tried taking out the battery, I have tried uninstalling the app and re-installing it, I have tried using a completely different device to try and control it and I have tried leaving it on for a couple of hours. In fact I have tried all these things multiple times and nothing.
The ZWO guys asked me to upload the log, which I did and they said there was nothing to look at, well I could have told them that, the damn thing isn't doing anything so obviously there is nothing in the log.
It is, of course, out of warranty so I am stuck with a useless lump of plastic unless anyone here can help.
Apologies for the length of my post but I wanted to try and give a complete picture of what is happening or rather not happening!
