Newbie to S50, planets overexposed

The first few minutes of use, with almost no tutorial help, I was able to very successfully photograph deep space objects.

However, Jupiter and Mars are very much overexposed. How can I fix this?

Also, try to manage your expectations, the S50 is not ideal for planetary imaging. If you squint very hard you can sort of see Jupiter's bands and Saturn's rings and a few of their moons but that's about it.

Thank you to both of you, I appreciate your prompt responses. OK, if I can't work with the exposure, then I am exceptionally pleased with this device. Even more so pleased that I bought it before THE CHAOS began. My "other" scope is an 11" CST set up as an f2 with a mix of brand name devices that does take a while to set up. A WHILE. With the S50, I'm up-and-running with a beverage of my choice and cranking out very respectable product from Night 1. Imagine the results if I actually knew what I was doing.
