Hello
I think it would be super easy to add support for film cameras using the "DSLR port" via a Shutter Release Cable on the ASIAIR, Example I would like to use a guide scope and camera guide while using the "DSLR port" to open and close the shutter of my Film SLR. I currently use a separate intervalometer device for this purpose but its simple and I can only shoot one exposure length. (I cannot make a Plan and AutoRun it)
I know the "DSLR port" can fire my film cameras shutter because I connect it to my film camera while I connect my Canon DSLR via USB and flip the switch to activate the "EXP via Shutter Release Cable" in the ASIAIR. I Run a Plan and my film camera shutter opens and closes fine for the first photo but my Digital Canon does not and the ASIAIR freezes up because I think its waiting for a image from it. I guess the ASIAIR does not send a command to shoot through USB while having the "DSLR port" activated and also sending commands.
Also adding this feature/support will allow people with early DSLRs that are not USB controllable to also use the ASIAIR.
thank you for your time
