On my IPhone I can use EQ mode. On my tablet it says my firmware is the latest but EQ mode is not present.
Have you confirmed that your tablet Seestar APP has been updated to V2.4 or V2.4.1? If not, please provide this link https://www.zwoastro.com/software/ to update the version.
Delete app and reinstall.....
