Any plans for imx250 and imx252?

Do you have any plans to make cameras with imx250/imx252?

This is a new generation of Pregius b/w sensors with reduced read noise (as compared with imx174).

These sensors could be good for those who want to have a b/w camera and need lower noise than imx174 has.

yes, we will evaluate these sensors

just these new sensors are even more expensive than IMX174

Use the slower alternative versions ;)

Very good news ! I'm also very interested in these sensors, especially IMX250

monochrome.

For planetary/lunar/solar (?) and DSO lucky imaging the IMX250 monochrome

could be a very interesting solution. 3.45 microns pixels are bigger than the

2.4 microns pixels of IMX178.

So I have few questions : :?:

- Is binning 2x2 supported ?

- Do you have an idea of reading noise ?

- Is there banding as for IMX174 ?

- Is there amp glow (I guess yes) ? Lower than IMX174 ?

- An idea of the price of an uncooled camera with this sensor ?

You can check Point Grey sensor review. IMX252 and IMX250 get best scores in their reviews, although they don't have IMX178 and 224 for comparison ;)
