I agree with Aastrometrycs: if you have free USB ports available on the ASIAIR, the best option is to connect the CAA and also EAF directly there to ensure maximum stability.
That said, if all the ASIAIR USB ports are already occupied (as in my case:
1) USB2.0 mount
2) USB 3.0 main camera (ASI2600MM)
3) USB 2.0 guiding camera
4) USB 3.0 USB Mamory Stick
There is an alternative that also works well. I used a USB splitter cable (hub) connected to the USB port of the ASI2600MM.
Through that hub, I connect the EFW + EAF on one side and the CAA on the other. I tested this setup and, at least for me, everything works perfectly.
So, if you need to free up ports on your ASIAIR, this could be a practical solution.
