I still have to go through this each time I use it then I have to "close all apps" and restart the S50 app again. Then to the advanced settings (by clicking on its "name") level and calibrate the compass. Then I can use it. This was not mentioned in any of the tutorials I could find. Never do I see the rainbow colored progress circle seen in many of the tutorials.
