Hi starting a new thread as my post on older thread on asiair+ioptron az mount pro have been completely ignored.
The asiair plus (both 256G and 32G) dont connect to ioptron az mount pro. I have tried all the cables (the standard cable rj9toRS232+RS232 to USBA (provided with asiair pro) and aftermarket cable rj9 (4p4c) to USBA cable from amazon.
In both cases I do the following
- Start the mount and let it complete its alignment process.
- Use handset to Goto to some other objects and add to alignment.
- Connect the rj9 cable from mount to asiair plus and switch it ON.
- On mounts tabe in asiair app on iPad, select mount=Ioptron az mount pro + 8407 handset
- Select connection type as serial and baud rate to 115200.
- Hit connect. The mount connects and details like Long Lat show up
- But very next moment a message pops saying - failed to operate mount and then mount disconnects.
The same cable works fine with Icommander app on windows 11 PC and with stellarmate (raspberri Pi 5) with same settings as mentioned above.
I have loaded the bug reports earlier in Jan and Feb.
Even a response like - this mount is no longer supported will be highly appreciated.
