I found it impossible to make a mosaic of the moon using my c 9.25 and the mosaic feature in the ASI Air plus software. I make a plan with the required number of mosaic tiles, push start, but the process breaks down with the plate solving request, which is impossible to do when the moon takes up the whole field of view. The software also jumps to another location without the moon being in the FOV, plate solves and starts taking images. This request would work for the solar photography and should be augmented with the ability to take video.
Is there a workaround or can I request a future feature whereby mosaics can be started when the mount is synced without having to plate solve first. This would work for the sun as well.
