smaller pixels will always have a resolution advantage over bigger pixels,
And since you can bin sensors and with the stacked sensor technology their being little penalty of having smaller pixels, i' say in that regard, there is no reason to pick little or big pixels
I would definitely agree with your pick. I would pick the 174mm simply for its wider field of view
I hope that we see more options in the 1" sensor range which and hope it becomes a sweet spot for price and new products.
For instance, I would love to see a 1" starvis sensor mono and color (hopefully 4/3) with the latest low light tech.
