The 2600MC Duo is my first camera (after my Canon DSLR) and before adding a Zwo 5x2 EFW, I wanted to replace the existing front adjusting tilt plate with the M54 rear tilt option. I understand that the circular foam insert provides the light shield and the adjustable spacing for tilt adjustment but I want to be sure I have tightened the camera correctly. Do I initially screw down the two plates fully compressing the foam insert or should I leave some gap? But if the plates are not fully in contact, there will be new tilt created. Any advice appreciated.
