Just change your main camera under the equipment tab to the camera which is being used as your guide one, switch back when done. Simple. No need to rewrite the software. The only thing you'd have to change is the focal length of the "main camera"/scope, if unknown the asiair makes this easy too, leave it at zero and it works it out when it plate solves.
