ASI 224MC or 174MC which is best for DSO?

I currently have a ASI120mm-S that I use for autoguiding and could use for planetary if I purchase some filters. My original plan was to purchase the cooled 224 when it came out and use it for planetary and deep sky but I could use some advice on which would actually be best for my situation. I have a Celestron Edge HD8 with a focal reducer and a DSLR that I am using for imaging now.

My primary interest is imaging galaxies and planetary nebula. I do plan on a color camera this time. My question is, what would give me the best results for my primary interest of galaxies and nebula, the 174MC color cooled or the 224MC color cooled?

174 is good as mono, as color is not as good as 224, but it's bigger. What also matter is the resolution you would get with the telescope. ASI224 would give 0.54"/pixel and ASI174 0.85"/pixel. Both resolutions are quite high for DS imaging. At such scale I would stick with mono ASI174 and use only CLS/light pollution filter for DS imaging - with an option for more narrowband filters for nebulae. The exposure must be quite short to prevent seeing blurring the image, as well as mount tracking/guiding also must be smooth.
