ASI178MM binning?

I wonder if the ASI178MM (cooled) supports binning (standard 2x2)? And if so - are there any disadvantages of binning pixels in those sensors?

2,4 binned to 4,8 would be perfect for f/19 planetary telescope while at bin 1 handy for some lens DS imaging and what not :)

yes, it support 2X2 binning

but all CMOS binning is software binning

read noise reduce by 2X times instead of 4X with CCD

but consider the read noise of CMOS is already very small

so I think it's still very good

Can you post for example 1min bin1/2/3 dark frames and some lens comparison photos (bright at bin X and going fainter till bin 1) ?
