We are getting really frustrated with our Seestar as since latest updates it cannot even find the sun!!!! What is going on. The poor thing has been turned that many times to calibrate it that I think it’s dizzy!!!! No joke a waste of money atm. Not happy at all.
Seestar's automatic sun search function relies on compass data and horizontal sensors. There are several possible reasons for failure to GOTO the sun in solar system mode. You can take corresponding actions according to each reason.
The software screwed up compass calibration, just like the 2.3 update. This time the declination seems to be correct, but the RA is about 10° off. Hopefully they'll fix it with the next update.
