Wich file format i've to use to take videos in 12 bits format? If i remember well .avi and .ser are 8bits file format

SER is higher (at least in FC), AVI is 8-bit.
So, if i take in .ser in FC i'm sure it's a 12bits video?
SER format can accept both 8bit and 16bit format
you need to enable 16bit in FC to capture in 12bit ADC mode
Ok enable 16bits and .SER format? Sorry Sam what is ADC mode? Ok so at 16 bits the framerate is lower.
FireCapture will offer you to capture as 8 bit data or as 16 bit data format (12 bit ADC is the converter on the camera which outputs 12 bit data which is saved in a 16 bit file format).
Are the frame rate very lower at 16bits in 640x480?
Note that you don't need > 8 bit for planetary imaging (and most lunar or solar imaging too) as the SNR isn't high enough to take advantage of that. The framerate will be slower, manual should list some framerates for that.
