Polar Align…in the daytime

Hello.

I'm looking for a method for daytime polar alignment.

Why? To try to point at the nascent crescent moon, which is extremely thin and difficult to see with the naked eye.

I can do the usual polar alignment the night before, but I have to move my equipment the next day.

My equipment: AM3 mount + Asi 533 Mc Pro + Asiair + EAF + 61 EDPH refractor.

Have you tried using Alt-Az mode, so setting the mount to the north with the home position?
