Can you please look at reducing the HCG setting to a much lower gain so this camera can be as useful as other manufacturers variants of the same sensor. Gain 252 is just too high and only leaves a tiny FWC of 2.5k which is not even close to being enough to avoid saturation of all stars at anything over 60s subs. Please look into an update for the firmware and it would be also advantageous to ZWO if you ever release the ASI585MC Air.
2.5k of full well capacity is just too small to not over-saturate all the stars in an image and while HCG252 with its low read noise may be ok for planetary lucky imaging, it is not even close to being enough for DSO imaging. Even the ASI533MC Pro has 16.5k FWC at HCG.
Please look into this as it is beneficial to both users and ZWO going forward.
