One of the less used gems of the ASIAIR is the SkyAtlas. In part this is because of ZWO's poor documentation of it and its features. For instance it is unclear as to what time the SkyAtlas shows for the location of a target when it is displayed. After a lot of experimentation I believe that it is the current time. It would be nice to have that verified.
Beyond verifying it, the addition of a settings capability should be expanded for the SkyAtlas to allow at a minimum a time to be entered and preferably also a date. This would provide the user with information on where in their local sky the target would be at the time they wanted to capture. It is pretty clear that there is no new math that needs to be generated, just the replacement of the current date and time with the provided date and time. A very similar feature exists in SkySafari Pro. I know I and others would appreciate this feature and it would go a long way to ensuring successful captures of targets. Thanks for your consideration of this suggestion.
