Hi everyone
I have a skywatcher star discovery 127/1500 maksutov and have purchased an ASI715mc planetary camera and svbony IR Cut filter and a 0.5 focal reducer. I have loaded all drivers and using the latest releas of ASI Studio. I am real new to asicap and I was wondering if someone could help me. In AsiCap the camera is loaded but not sure what settings for exposure etc I should use. I have focused scope using eyepiece on moon but when I swap over to camera I cannot get clear image. Is backfocus important with this combination. Has anyone tried the ASI715 with a Maksutov that could give me some clues on how to get it to work.
