asi224mc cool vs asi178mc cool for EAA

Hi there,

which of the following camera(asi224mc or asi178mc) would best suited for EAA(priority) and casual imaging ? I will be using the camera with a f2.8 300mm camera lense. Also, Is a binned(2x2) 178mc is as sensitive as a none binned asi224mc?

Color binning is more like 4x because you need 4 green, 2 red and 2 blue pixels. Normal bin2 would destroy the color information. Plus software implementation of that as binning for those cameras is software only.
