latitude value eq mode is wrong (bug)

After deviation check seestar told me that i am 3.4° out, but at the same time the latitude value it is correct (46°)

If i correct the red value the 46° became 42° and after that is impossible to go further with another deviation check

Updates? Now eq mode for me is unusable

I found the error
Switch to alt az mode and than do a lever sensor calibration, seestar must be on a leveled surface
Latitude now comes back 90° with seestar on a leveled surface (before that was 86°)

I think this is a bug of the new firmware

satch984 Thanks for working this out, will have to try this. Spent over 45 minutes the last two nights trying to get my S50 up and running! 😣 Had EQ mode down to a few minutes set up and this ‘wrong latitude’ bug has nearly driven me insane!

satch984 I just hope that once they fix this issue, we don't all have to go back in and perform the level sensor calibration yet again. My setup is not the easiest to work with in order to do this calibration. But I'm also waiting on clear skies. I've never seen so many cloudy nights in my life.

Level sensor calibration completed and it fixes the latitude issue, thanks for working this out, back to 5 minute setups! Now, all I need is to make it darker outside for longer… the downside of getting towards summer… 🤣
