In the UK we have just gone into 3 months of no actual astronomical dark. Pre the latest update the plan window dark times were fairly sensible e.g. about 11PM to 3AM and getting shorter each night. Now it's saying 10PM to 4AM, during which start and end times its pretty much daylight here. I think somethings gone wrong with how it works out when its dark. Either that or because astronomical night has gone its now showing me something else like civil twilight.
Asked on FB and confirmed others have seen this. In some ways it's good to be able to decide yourself when you can start or end sessions, but I liked the guidance it gave to when it'll actually be dark.
I did complain earlier about the hard limits for the start and stop times for planning sessions, and yes, since the latest update things have got worse, not better. It looks like the planning mode is not high on ZWO's to do/improve list.
I will give feedback on your ideas to the team.
honestly, I don't understand why you complain about this modification... now, you can sightly extend the plan as you wish before and after astronautical limits, that's a good thing, no ? it's very useful in summer when you live above 50° latitude...
