I have conflicting information about the connection between my ZWO ASI2600MC Duo Air and my Sky-watcher EQ8 mount.

One source tells me to connect the ASIair to the mount using the rj12 connection on the hand controller and select Synscan in the ASIair app menu for mount type.

Another source says to connect to the mount hand controller jack directly (not using the handset) and selecting EQMod as the mount type in the ASIair app.

What is the best (correct) way?
