ASIAIR PLUS + Star Adventurer GTI

Hello! I'm having some issues with the setup listed in the title. Whenever I use the go home or go to feature from the ASIAIR, the GTI mount doesn't move anywhere close to it. It's also failing to accurately guide using my ASI120MM, resulting in blurry photos.

However I have no problem when using Go To function through the SynScan app.

I'd like to resolve this issue because I am unable to use guiding for longer exposures and I have to swap between the ASIAIR and SynScan app, complicating my work flow.

charles.adams Hello Charles, i also have an SA GTI and use with an Air (mini). Since i purchased an AM3 i don't use the GTI much but have found the following:
I found it best to not use the SynScan app at all (even having app active in the pad/phone confused the GTI/Air. if i start with the GTI in home position and then go thru the normal routine with asiair all seems well (sort of). i use the Air software only.
I have struggled with "stiction" issues with the dec axis on the GTI but can get decent guiding (1.5 to 1.0 arc seconds (the AM3 gives me consistently sub 1 arc second guiding)
My biggest issue is recovery from dithering, particularly in the dec axis. some dithers take over 90 seconds to fully recover. i have heard from others that dithering recovery is much better in the PHD2 app but cannot confirm that.
i have used between 1 second and 2 second guiding exposures. make sure the aggressiveness settings are in the 40% to 50% range (that worked for me, more aggressive just caused lots of overshoot (again, for me).
Make sure the Max DEC and Max RA Duration values are shorter than the exposure time
i would use the GTI a lot more if the dec dither recovery times were better

Sorry, I can't help.
I recently used the Mini with the GTi, and it worked flawlessly (EQMOD) with a Redcat 51 and the 220mm Mini as a guide camera.
Of course, you can't expect great guiding that's also sufficient for medium or long focal lengths from the GTi.
