When in EQ mode, I don't think Seestar cares much about the horizon. Seestar app has a toggle to skip horizontal calibration. Should I skip it when in EQ?
jdaley It shouldn't perform the horizontal calibration when it's set to EQ mode. EQ mode should override that. So you could leave it on in case you go back to alt/az for some reason.
ParadigmShift I came to the same conclusion. ZWO should at least have an EQ note. Maybe they will reply.
Do not select Skip, this feature is to compensate the level and reduce the star trail problem.
