Whenever I turn the S50 on, it says something to the effect 'updating firmware will take 30 seconds' and half a minute later says 'Firmware update successful'.
It happens everytime, so I suspect it isn't updating the firmware at all.
I've only just bought the S50 and am worried that I might have set it up incorrectly, so I thought I'd do a factory reset and start again, but all the 'help' on the internet contradicts itself saying it isn't possible, it is possible, it only works for Bluetooth, use the reset button, use the on off button, 10 seconds, 30 seconds - I'm lost.
Any help / ressurance/ guidance would be very much appreciated.

Oh, the app firmware is 2.5.0 and the Seestar is 4.70.
