ASI585MC Air and Meade LX90/LX200

I'm considering purchasing the ASI585MCAir to possibly use with my Meade LX90 or LX200 (also possibly with my iOptron AZ Mount Pro or my Meade LXD75 EQ mount).
I'm mainly looking to do planetary imaging and maybe some deep sky imaging of some of the brighter and larger objects. I don't have much open sky where I live, so a permanent imaging setup is not feasible. Having to lug imaging gear out into a field somewhere is not appealing to me either.
The all-in-one nature of the ASI585MCAir seems like a good solution to make it easier to "grab and go" to head to a nice dark sky area with open sky.
Anyway, my question is how would one connect the ASI585MC Air to the mount to make use of the built in guide camera?
The ASI585MC Air only has USB ports and all of these mounts only have RS232 serial ports for controlling the mount.
Would a USB to serial port adapter work? IF so, which one would be recommended?

Or something similar. Basically eqmod I think is the way to go.

That being said, I would check to make sure your mount(s) can be controlled by the ASIAIR.

No point going through this if your mount isn't compatible.

Also check any other equipment you intend on using is compatible.

Personally, I would wait for the ASIAIR Firmware to be updated through multiple iterations before buying it because there's always going to be the early adopter risk.
