ASI174MM-COOLED all white images

I have a new 174MM-Cooled which i've used to grab a quick moon image without issue. When trying to get a DSO image with an exposure over 10 seconds, the image is blown out and pure white. I have tried a few different gain settings but, coming from CCD, I really don't know too much about what to be using.

How can I get some longer-exposure images? I've tried using ASCOM via TheSkyX, the Sky plugin, and also via FireCapture, and all exhibit the same problem.

I am sure there is a cure but when I first started a few months ago had the same issue, quickly switched to Sharpcap it was working again. Have been using Sharpcap ever since.

I was using a one shot camera so it worked out fine, but of you need more robust features to work with your mono cam and filter wheel, FC maybe a better choice.
