I contacted support 2+ months ago about this but no further response so I'm posting here on the off chance support looks at this forum. Or maybe someone else with this problem has figured out a fix to stop the errors.
Brand new AM3 mount. Controlling it from the ZWO SkyAtlas app from Android (tried two different devices) over BT or WiFi, all with the same results. Also same result using SkySafari, though that doesn't display the error messages (and also only works over WiFi).
Selecting an object and hitting GOTO will cause an E3 or E4 error at some random rate, sometimes every other time I hit GOTO, other times it will go several objects. Once in the "error" mode the only way to clear seems to be to use the hand controller: hit cancel on it and then the GOTO in the app. Here's a video:https://photos.app.goo.gl/12ZspAV4LdivHFY79
I suspect that sometimes this error sequence also breaks alignment, but I can't replicate that consistently.

From another older post the E3 error means the mount got a move command while already moving. Except of course nothing is giving it another command and the mount is not moving. E4 error explanation isn't clear. Either way it's a symptom of whatever the actual failure is.
