Hi all, i have used for the first time ASIAIR plus; it was connected with my mount Skywatcher EQ6 R pro via EQMOD, ASI 533 MC, ASI 120 mini as guide cam; the main scope is RASA 8, the guide scope is a little 120 mm. I have appraciated the power and the ease of use of ASIAIR but i have had some problems with guide and PA; for PA i have had problem to center the little blu circle into the withe circle with azimut manual movements; no matter how much I could operate the knobs I couldn't center it and I couldn't bypass the phase; so in order not to ruin too much the alignment already made with the Polemaster I left it alone; for the guide i have had big jumps (around 20") only in AR; it seemed like the correction commands in AR worked on the contrary for some seconds, the star go away until 20" ca. out of graph and after the star returned in the graph in the corrected position but the frame was ruined; this behaviour was randomly without any regularity but often enough to ruin 1 hour of work in 5 hours of total work; so that i have a question: also in order to understand the cause can i use the guide cam and so the guiding function with another software (like Maxim) while ASIAIR works in autorun mode? the guiding commands of Maxim via guider relays to ST4 port can interfere with ASIAIR system?
