TH10 Tripod Head Dovetail mount scale question

I notice the TH10 dovetail mount has a scale with 0 in the middle and some marks with 5 and 10 going towards the ends.

The dovetail plate has a single mark in the center.

I've been placing it with the dovetail plate mark aligned to 0 on the dovetail mount scale.

I keep wondering if I need to align the dovetail plate mark to some other number on the dovetail mount scale since my S50 points fairly forward (being at 35 deg N latitude). I think about if the S50 sideload might be moving the tripod out of level by a few degrees and that dovetail mount scale may help compensate for that sideload?

This doesn't affect usage. As long as the mount is securely locked, you don't need to worry too much about the scale.
