The adapter is a 1.25" nosepiece, screw it on the camera and attach the camera to the guidescope. Use the included guide cable to connect your 224 to the mount. The USB port on the 224 connects to the computer.
Focusing can be difficult for guidescope, getting them to work on a guide software such as PHD has some learning curve also, still easy compared to using an off axis guider.
