S50 additional payload

Hello,

I'm planning to piggyback a ZWO ASI585MC + ZWO 30F5 Mini Guide Scope on top of the S50 using 3D printed adapters, I know there's no official support to use such setup and I would take full responsibility for any damage to my S50. But I just want to know what's the maximum additional payload capacity that the S50 gears can handle? (just as reference for my mad adventures 😂)

I'm even not sure Zwo has an answer concerning this point, but... given the low price of the seestar, one can suppose mechanical margins are very weak and don't allow use of such a payload with good performances.
the best you can do is to try and check what happens...

While we appreciate your enthusiasm, we do not recommend mounting additional equipment like a guide scope and camera on top of the S50. The device wasn’t designed to carry extra payloads, and doing so may affect tracking accuracy, overload the motors, or even cause damage.
