I have a ZWO 120mm-s camera that I use as a guide camera. Standard ST4 autoguiding using the cameras ST4 port works fine in ASiAir (I have an old Losmandy GM8) with the mount set to "On camera ST4".
I am curious if Asiair is compatible with GPUSB? I can run the test once I get clear skies (it's been cloudy for several weeks where I live), but thought I'd ask here as well.
Unlike PhD2, Asiair does not have a drop-down option for GPUSB under mounts, so wasn't sure if the following would work:
- Connect guide camera to ASiair using supplied USB 3.0 cable.
- Connect GPUSB to Asiair using the integrated USB 2.0 cable
- Connect GPUSB to mount using standard RJ12 cable.
- Set mount to ST4 on camera in Asiair.
I am assuming this won't work without the right drivers. Shoestring Astronomy supplies the ASCOM driver for Windows...
