Is it really necessary to do a level sensor calibration with a brand new Seestar? The tutorials and manual don't say it is, but some online sources do. If it were necessary, it sure would have been nice if they included a level.
vQaq0r7C It has been calibrated at the factory and does not require frequent adjustments for normal use. If recalibration is required, please use the "Horizontal Sensor Calibration" function in the Seestar app. Note that the equipment should be removed from the tripod and placed on a table or ground as level as possible for operation.
Just download a level app onto you phone/tablet or use a level in your hardware drawer to make sure the floor/table on which you set the Seestar is level. It's not warranted to ship a level. I know I don't wish to pay for one.
