Allow seeStar user to access tonight best without seeStar connected

The tonight best is a great feature to use but it is limited to only when the seeStar is connected. Often I want to know what is out there without taking out my seeStar, wait for power on and wait for connection to my phone. I want to know if there is anything interesting to see now or later in the night. If there are interesting objects, I will then open out my seeStar. If not, I can try again another time and another day. My request is to have the Tonight best feature accessible to the seeStar user without the need to connect the seeStar.

If it is to control app so that only seeStar user has access to, then the app can remember if the phone has been connected to a seeStar device. If it has been connected to a seeStar in the past, then the app should allow user to access the tonight best in the future, with or without the seeStar being connected.

Ps. I live in a city where there sky is blocked by tall building so there are limited objects to be observed at any time. I find that the need to power up a seeStar before I can know what is out there has put me off several times to use it.

The planetarium software Skysafari Plus will give you a very detailed skymap. It has the ability to move forward and backward in time so you can see what is up from your location and exactly where it is located. Click on an object that interests you and click on "Selection" then in the submenu that pops up, click on "Object Info". This will give you all the information you need about the object and will include celestial coordinates (Azimuth and Altitude). Skysafari Plus will also display a picture of the object and even give you audio about the object if you want. There is a free version of Skysafari, I think, but it might not include all the features. I have a paid version of the app but it is worth every penny.

Tonight's best can be accessed without switching on the Seestar by going into SkyAtlas, select Objects and Tonight's best are displayed. But I agree it would be good to have full access to all the Seestar's functions without haveing to actually switch it on. I've often been frustrated when i want to check something but then have to boot up the scope etc.
