Hi, two nights ago when I woke up my scope was upside down, more or less in collision with the pier.
My setup is controled by NINA (last version) with ascom zwo driver last version. The sequence was ok, pointing was ok, tracking was ok. When I discovered the situation I ordered to go home in NINA and the scope went home, everything was still in control. A close look at both log files from NINA and ZWO AM5 log files shows that NINA ordered to park the mount at the end of the sequence and the mount reported parked at az 270 alt 0.000xxx and stopped tracking. NINA reported a "park time out" after 10mn but the mount stayed like this (at least the log says this with no tracking) until I ordered to Home the scope and it did it. But the park position was something crazy and I was lucky not to destroy everything as it stopped before the crash.
So my question is how is it possible? what could have been wrong to end up like this? this is the first time I have this problem.
The DC voltage is around 12.6v from an AC/DC 20A power supply, I do a home position before starting anything as I noticed that sometimes the mount is showing 180° azimuth at power on in home position and go back to az 0 or 360° after the home command after looking for the home sensors.
Anybody as an idea?
It becomes frightening to go to sleep with the Damocles sword above my head.
I can choose the home position at the end of the sequence as my setup is not in a permanent observatory with limited space but I would rather found the root of the problem.
Thank for your help.
