Every time I try to launch ASIStudio v1.15.2 x86 on a Windows 7 Pro 64-bit laptop it displays an error message box saying "The program can't start because api-ms-win-core-registry-L1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer." and closes down. I have done a file search, and sure enough that file does not exist on my computer. I can uninstall v1.15.2 and re-install v1.15.1 and all components of ASIStudio works as expected without having to do anything else. How do I correct this error?
According to the 'Update Log", the only change for v1.15.2 was the additional support for the new EAF's. Because I do not own an EAF, I don't mind staying with v1.15.1 - except it keeps asking to update the program upon every launch. How do I prevent it from automatically checking and or installing the latest version? How do I stop the update request message box from being displayed?
Why is this labeled v1.15.2 here in the forum and in the software section, but the "Update Log" and downloaded installer file it is called v1.16? Which is the correct version number?
I have asked before, and I'll ask again - PLEASE change the very difficult to see "Dark Theme" harsh red font on the grey background!
Clear skies,
Ed
