ASIAir needs to remember lat/long and date/time from config file

Today, the ASI Air loads it's lat/long and date/time from the iOS (and android?) device that is connected to it. This is a problem for those of us using our ASIAir at a remote observatory, like Starfront (which is excellent BTW).

It would be great if you could "cache" or "save" a location that is independent from my iPad (or iPhone). On enty to the device you could ask "would you like to use the location of your iPad OR a saved location". Today it seems to do something random. Sometimes it leaves the settings alone and sometimes replaces them.

really love the product. great to see the incremental improvements.

I agree, sometimes it remembers lat and lon and sometimes it forgets. When it forgets it defaults to zero and the mount is a bit crazy until i remember to reset to my location coordinates. It should certainly have the option to save a specific location regardless of the tablet physical location

retman more from my post above, this happens, for me, with a ASIAIR MINI running 2.3.1 11.63. i am afraid to update to newer versions of AIR software given all the bugs.
