I've had my ZWO CAA since (I believe) March, but I haven’t been able to use it yet. I initially thought the problem was the missing 42mm adapter plate. Fortunately, ZWO finally released it, and it arrived yesterday.
Now, I have my ASI2600MM connected to the 36mm EFW using standoffs, followed by the CAA, which is mounted using the 43mm adapter plate.
However, I can’t connect the CAA to any of my scopes because they all have a 48mm male thread, while the CAA seems to have a 54mm thread (I believe it's M54?).
So I’m a bit lost. I’ve ordered a 54M to 48F adapter, but I haven’t received it yet. Is that the correct solution? Will that actually work? I read somewhere that this might not be a viable option.
Do I need to approach this differently?
