ASIAIR Plus Not Connecting to Celestron Evolution 9.25 via WiFi

Hello,
With great enthusiasm, I purchased the ASIAIR Plus from ZWO to control both my ZWO cameras and my Celestron Evolution 9.25 WiFi telescope with an alt-azimuth mount. However, when I try to connect the telescope via WiFi, it is not recognized.
Could you please provide the exact steps to get the ASIAIR Plus to recognize my telescope?

I'm quite surprised to see that this might be possible since I have an Evolution as well. Have you tried starting with a USB cable plugged into the hand controller on the mount? That appears supported, and it might at least get you going. It may also be possible with Wi-Fi. I did a few Google searches and most of the information is 2-3 years old, so out of date as technology goes. I might give it a try myself over the next couple cloudy nights. I like a challenge!

I did some testing and searching, and it seems the ASIair can't connect in WiFi mode. I tried it for quite a while only in station/AP mode. I also scanned the Celestron while on the network and it's only listening on TCP ports 2000 and 3000; the latter of which is meant for maintenance. So port 2000 still doesn't work in the ASIair settings. The default of 4030 won't work at all because the mount doesn't use it.

However, it works great with a mini-USB cable plugged into the Eveolution hand controller. Note that it's mini-USB, not micro or USB-C.
