I'm thinking of building a very portable travel setup with a 2600mc Air and CAA attached to a 135mm lens for doing widefield mosaics. The idea that everything would be very compact without a bunch of cables and built in guiding is very appealing, but it dawned on me that when doing a mosaic and changing the camera angle from panel to panel that the guiding calibration would be compromised regardless of meridian. Does the 2600mc Air automatically recalibrate the guide camera when interfacing with the CAA and doing mosaics when it has to change the camera angle from panel to panel?
