multiple loss of connection during session

I am using the ASIAIR Plus as part of my configuration operating the LS60MT solar telescope. During a 45-60 minute session, it'll drop the connection up to three times during any session. This has been a situation since I first integrated the device to my configuration. FW version: 2.4.1. It is connected to the EAFN and an ASI585MC camera. I am operating from an iPad.
What seems to resolve re-establishing the connection is to turn off then on the ASIAIR Plus, quit the app and start over again.
Please advise if there is something I can do to resolve this?

Do you by any chance have a USB hub involved? Have you tried swapping out cables? Are you losing all connections or just to one device?

R0k9pZfT No, I am not using a USB hub. It's more of a "periodic" drop in connection, where I would need to reboot the ASIAIR Plus device.

From the number of complaints associated with v2.4.x, dropping the WiFi signal seems to be one of them.

How far are you from your scope?
If you are connecting over some distance, you might want to consider getting a small travel router to connect to the ASIAIR to enhance the signal by setting the routere up as a repeater.

johnpd In terms of distance, the rig is on my balcony (west end of our house), and I am in the adjacent room with the doors open to the balcony sitting by the door opening. For all intents and purposes, I am approx. 2.5m from the rig.
I have two ASIAIR Plus devices, used in two different rigs, and they both appear to experience similar behaviour with respect to dropping a connection. During an hour session, it may drop 3-4 times.

Are you using 2.4 or 5g wireless. Though 2.4 can have a bit more range, it can get very congested and the Air hardware is not very good at seamlessly reconnecting. 5g iPad within 5m direct line of sight in pretty robust for me

9kr69ubP I have been using the default 2.4G wifi network. Given that I am typically in close proximity to the rig, I shall try to set the device to generate a 5.0G wifi network, and see how robust that wifi network is.

When you say it's been an issue since you first used the device - I'm assuming before firmware 2.4.1 ... do you remember what firmware version(s) you've tried? Release log here to help: https://www.yuque.com/zwopkb/asiair/release-log ?

Also - how do you have everything powered and connected in your setup(s)?

Corsair Both devices (ASIAIR Plus) had their FW updated to 2.4.1 earlier in July. Yes, all components powered up. The ASIAIR Plus has a ASI585MC camera and EAF device connected to it. I don't know if one of those devices connected to the ASIAIR Plus is generating a disruption in the wifi signal?
