Hello. Last night I tried to capture the whole Cygnus Loop. How it was set in SkyAtlas (white frame) And what we got So, it didn't rotate the result frame to proper angle (approx 30° less than it should be). As result we have cropped corners. Definitely it's a bug!
It looks like your pointing is off by less than 45°. I recommend enabling auto Enhancement after GoTo, because if you shoot manually, some deviation may occur due to algorithm adjustments.
Support@Seestar So, proper framing and rotation in mosaic mode works only with AutoEnhancement and doesn't work as it should if we start manually, do I understand correctly?
Lilo I'm not sure, this is indeed possible. We are currently submitting a request to modify this behavior. In mosaic mode, the system saves based on the last frame, which can lead to some deviation in the final result.
Support@Seestar What does it mean "based on the last frame"? Rotation is always set at the beginning of the session with first frame and doesn't change till the end.
