When you first set everything up make sure you are in the correct physical Home position (counterweights down, pointing towards NCP/SCP) BEFORE turning on the ASIAIR.
Once you turn on the ASIAIR and connect to it wirh the ASIAIR App- check your location information is correct.
Once in to the ASIAIR App - go to Mount settings and check location, date, and time information on the mount.
Remember - the time here in mount info needs to be the time without daylight savings time.
Go to Main Camera settings and set main focal length to 0.
Now, in Preview Mode, using the on screen mount controls, slew to an area of the sky away from NCP/SCP. Take a single exposure and tap on plate solve. If successful, you should see a message confirming focal length etc. Tap on Sync.
Go to Mount settings > tap on go home. Check mount correctly returns to home position.
Now do polar alignment. Then, once done, go to Mount settings > Go Home.
Then refine focus etc.
Remember, when manually slewing, always use the on screen mount controls.
