I have enjoyed my Seestar S50 from the day I got it, A great unit with promise of things to come.
The eventual addition of EQ mode was over due and and meant the loss of profit by not being able to
selling EQ mounts ( That's O.K. if you don't want to make a profit ).
The addition of a Solar filter with the Seestar S50 when you first purchased it was a Brilliant
Idea and should be done with all smart telescopes, as it allows a user to right out of the box look at the sun, Instead of having to wait half a day till its dark and clear skies to get out and use the Telescope.
Now I keep seeing money lost by ZWO so many "crap" home 3D printed addons for the Seestar S50,
Dew shields, Bahtinov Mask's and addon clips that allow for the use of various Filters on the Seestar S50.
No taller tripod for the Telescopes. Extra Addon fliters for the Seestar S50.
No ability to use a sd card or portable hard drive to increase storage on the Seestar S50. This too is product's you have denied yourself from selling by not having this simple feature. A Pc app so you can operate the Seestar S50 from you laptop or desktop.
All this and more is lost profit and most Silly a way ZWO could further retain customers and expand the ecosystem.
Finally I have to say the work done so far has been great, but yet so much more can be done for the end user and so much more profit lost by ZWO. Now I better end my rant before I'm kicked from the forums.
