As this latest rack and pinion GSO focuser does not have provision to mount an EAF , I made up my own retro kit just with an aluminium bracket , stainless hose clamp and stainless screws. Took me 1 hour and is much more rigid than those 3D printed PVC brackets.
NB: I first used this method about 4 years ago on my original GSO 2” Crayford dual speed focuser and it’s worked flawlessly. I just wanted a more heavy duty GSO focuser than had virtually no flop in the focus tube . The rack and pinion set up is solid and the EAF works really good, nice and smooth with negligible backlash.
